The recently restored 4,800 square feet Prince George Ballroom is located in a landmark building in Manhattan's Madison Square North Historic District between Fifth and Madison Avenues. With its unique architecture and elegant settings, this venue is the perfect choice for weddings, corporate functions, gala dinners, photo and film shoots, fashion shows or any other special events, and can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Designed at the beginning of the 20th century, the rich in intricate neo-renaissance details facility requires minimal décor and boasts great acoustics. It features ceiling murals, soaring 16 feet above the herringbone oak floor, a grand marble mantelpiece, four massive golden columns, carved in Renaissance style on the upper sections and fluted on the lower, and elaborate carvings. Its golden silk walls provide an elegant backdrop for the dramatic garlands, cherubs and acanthus leaves that adorn the room. The Prince George Ballroom is adjacent to the 3,000-square-foot art gallery - the World Monuments Fund Gallery, and the tea room. Your guests will enter the ballroom through the modern gallery, following the long hall into the opulent event space.
