One of the more affluent villages in Nassau County, Roslyn has quaint architecture, interesting shopping, nice eateries and many great places to stay. Perhaps most notably, Roslyn is home to the Nassau County Museum of Art, which is the former Gold Coast estate of Childs Frick. It also houses the only full service Jewish Community Center on the North Shore. While here, be sure to visit the Main Street Historic District - the earliest developed part of Roslyn with homes dating back to the early 19th century.
